“AJ, what do you want to be when you grow up?” Whenever this question was asked of me as a child, I always had one response . . . “I don’t know, but I’m going to love and enjoy what I do.” I have been fortunate enough throughout my 20+ year career to say I have accomplished this.

I'm passionate in my work whether it is professionally or through my art and photography. This passion creates drive, ambition, curiosity, and commitment. I'm not afraid to fail, in fact I have failed often. But learning and acting quickly from those failures it what produces confidence and knowledge of how to succeed in the future.

AJ is an expert in the space of Iconography and visual systems. He was always quick to offer guidance and support to team members, ensuring that we were all working towards the same goals and objectives. His leadership skills are top-notch, and he consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of clear communication and collaboration.
Throughout my time working with AJ, he proved himself to be a consummate professional. He was always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that projects were completed on time and to the highest possible standard. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every project he was on.
One of the things that stood out most to me about AJ was his positive attitude and positive energy. He had a real passion for his work, and this enthusiasm was contagious. It made the work we were doing feel meaningful and exciting.
Creative Design Producer
I had the pleasure of working under AJ as a co-producer on the our team. AJ has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to iconography and I have heard people around the company saying he's an "Oracle" to say the least.
AJ was very thorough when he first onboarded me to the team and continued to do so throughout our time together. Whenever I had a question, he was quick to jump in and answer them.
He always acted out of the kindness of his heart when we supported 100s of product teams across the company, which really showed his true genuine spirit.

Whenever I have transitioned him into harder, often abstract roles, with unclear goals, he seems to grow and really take ownership, solving difficult problems.
He takes on the big tasks, of changing culture, process or organizational restructuring, with as much aplomb as the smaller but detailed work of icon refresh for the entire company, or spearheading UX for localization into 7 new languages.
Over the years I worked with him, he has sharpened his situational awareness, and I've come to rely on his mental acuity to vivisect harried or tangled problems.
